Counsellor/Senior Counsellor
Job Scope
To provide cancer counselling and education, conduct and facilitate support group programmes to cancer patients under Parkway Oncology Clinical Programme.
Job Description
- To provide counselling service to cancer patients, their caregivers and/ or significant others in coping with the disease.
- To support, educate and raise awareness of cancer for staff, patients and public through training, support programmes or outreach engagement activities.
- To review existing and develop new resources for patients and caregivers to enhance their understanding of cancer in relation to psychological health.
- To participate in any project undertaken by the Allied Health Department.
Requirements
- Master in Counselling recognised by Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC) for Counsellor.
- At least 3 years clinical experience in direct counselling work.
- Prior experiences in medical/ hospital setting preferred.
- Relevant experiences in working with grief and bereavement would be an advantage.
- Preferably registered with SAC.
- Bilingual; fluent in spoken and written English and another language.

Clinic Receptionist
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and quality front-line services to patients.
- Register patients and manage patient consultation appointments.
- Provide assistance on daily clinic operations.
- Assist on patient Medisave and Private Integrated Shield Plan submission.
- Attend to walk-in and phone inquiries.
- Payment collection, cashiering and billing.
Requirements
- GCE ‘O’ Level with minimum 3 credits.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Relevant working experience in healthcare industry will be extra advantage.
- Good team player, meticulous, service-oriented, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Oncology Pharmacy Technician
Responsibilities
- Under immediate supervision of a registered pharmacist, prepare chemotherapy and associated medication doses being ordered and administered pursuant to doctor’s order using approved aseptic technique.
- Prepares and ad-mixes chemotherapy and associated medications.
- Assist in drug dispensing to patients according to standard procedure.
- Maintains clean and safe operation of biological safety cabinet.
- Dispensing of prescription drugs.
- Oversees pharmaceutical inventory stocking, restocking and ensure accuracy of stock level in clinic management system.
- Responsible for ordering clinical supplies, infusion solutions and reconciles invoices.
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Diploma in Biomedical Science (specialise in Pharmaceutical Science & Technology) or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Courses.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital pharmacy operations.
- Good team player, meticulous, service-oriented, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
