Jaime graduated with a Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling from the Swinburne University of Technology. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Communications and New Media (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
Jaime has worked for a number of years in various public healthcare and social service organisations. She has worked alongside healthcare professionals and administrators to improve quality of care, implemented psycho-social support programmes for persons with stroke, as well as counselled youths at a secondary school.
Working at Parkway Cancer Centre, Jaime finds meaning in being able to journey with and support patients and their families. She is pursuing development in the area of anticipatory grief and loss. She strongly believes in the value and worth of people, and uses mainly strength-based counselling approaches such as narrative therapy.
