I am a Cancer Warrior (ICW)
Fighting cancer is a daunting process for both patients and their loved ones. It is an emotional and physical battle involving much patience, courage and hope.
Coined “I am a Cancer Warrior”, CanHOPE’s campaign seeks to celebrate the warrior in us when it comes to overcoming cancer. Like any warrior, our cancer patients strive to win over their enemies with bravery, strength, honour and a fighting spirit. It is hoped that the campaign can help to motivate our patients and their loved ones as they face and fight the illness they are facing.
“Draw for Courage” is our core theme for the campaign. It highlights the importance of resilience in tough times.
The general public are invited to draw on paper their interpretation of a cancer warrior to motivate and encourage our patients and caregivers, giving them the strength and support to move on with treatment and their daily life.
Share your thoughts or write an inspiring message. It can also be a piece to thank loved ones for the support and strength or encouragement to a patient or someone who is facing difficult moments.
Donate your art piece to the patients or bring it home and share it with your family and friends.

Nicole I’M A SURVIVOR Diagnosed breast cancer in 2010, mastectomy was done, undergone chemotherapy, radiotherapy and also oral. Lucky to have so many friends and family members around me, who gave me so much hope and encouragement. Also attended the CanHOPE support group, where we shared experiences during the sharing session. I also assist to set up Line Dancing sessions for cancer patients since 2011 till now.
