Profile
Dr Kho was Head of Department of Medical Oncology, Liverpool Hospital, Sydney, one of the largest teaching hospital of the University of New South Wales. During this time, she was also Director of the clinical trials unit and a Clinical Lecturer. More recently, she was a Consultant at Sydney Adventist Hospital and a Visiting Scientist to the Garvan Institute of research, Sydney.
She graduated from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK in 1995 and worked at National University Hospital, Singapore before continuing her specialist postgraduate training in medical oncology at Sydney Cancer Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney.
She obtained her fellowship from Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2003. Her interest in translational research led her to work at Genome Institute of Singapore from 2002 to 2003 and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in the treatment of colorectal cancer.
Dr Kho is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Medical Oncology Group, Australia, the International Association of Lung Cancer, the Australian Lung Trials Group and Australasian Gastrointestinal Trials Group.
