Travel Arrangements

We would be delighted to assist you with your travel and visa requirements. Our team of pleasant and experienced service-orientated staff will be happy to provide assistance in matters such as:

  • Reservation and confirmation of air tickets
  • Visa and hotel arrangements
  • Airport to hotel limousine transfers
  • Interpreter services arrangement
  • Special food, beverages or religious arrangements
  • Optional local sightseeing tours


Transportation

Transportation and airport pickup services can be easily arranged. Patients can choose from regular saloon cars to 8-seater MPVs and limousine services. In addition, Parkway Hospitals provide a shuttle bus service to accord patients with easy access between Gleneagles and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals.

Singapore also has an excellent transport system that is easy and inexpensive to use. You can choose from air-conditioned public buses and taxis or use the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system.


Visa Requirements

Generally, foreign patients require:

  • Valid passport for at least 6 months,
  • Confirmed onward / return tickets,
  • Sufficient funds for their stay in Singapore, and
  • Visa, if applicable.

Visa application must be made prior to arrival in Singapore. Processing time is between 3 to 10 working days, excluding the day of submission and provided that all documents furnished are in order and no further verification is necessary.

CanHOPE, a non-profit cancer counselling & support service and hotline, is an initiative by Parkway Cancer Centre. It is a resource for information about cancer and its available screening tests and treatments for both patients and the general public. CanHOPE is manned by an experienced, knowledgeable and caring support team who have access to comprehensive information from reputable resources on a wide range of cancer topics, including treatment options for cancer. Our support team will take as much time as required to provide thorough and personalised attention. All information provided are kept confidential.

CanHOPE also runs a face-to-face cancer counselling & support service at our offices where our support team are based. The objective of this service is to address the psychosocial needs of patients and families across an entire spectrum of the disease from diagnosis to “living with cancer” to palliative care.
