You’re not aloneTheresa Loh became a volunteer to help cancer patients after seeing how the disease could affect families. She shares her story. Both my parents died from liver cancer. My dad was diagnosed with it in May 1998, and it was discovered at a very late stage. Until then, he had shown no symptoms, having only hiccups all the time. At the time, my brother was getting married, so my parents pushed back having it checked out. |
